CONCEPT
a) What is the key concept explored through your design?
My concept for module 3 is to generate spaces of different level of privacy and provide different views by changing the density, thickness and rotation of the wooden blades that form the pavilion.

b) How does the threshold and circulation shape your design? Describe the quality of space in your pavilion design.
By increasing the density and narrowing the openings between wooden blades, the visual connection from the western side of the pavilion (which orientates a busy road) is blocked the privacy level of the inner spaces is increased, while generate openings between blades on the other side of the pavilion using the same method, this will be further explained via the circulation and threshold diagrams.
c) What parametric design strategy did you deploy to develop your design intention?
(1) Using Kangaroo plug-in in grasshopper to generate the base shape and the landform of the pavilion.

(2) Using Pufferfish plug-in in grasshopper to generate the form of wooden blades that make up the pavilion.

(3) Using point attractors in grasshopper to test and adjust the spaces of different qualities.
