SHOOTING FROM THE HIP/CHEST/STOMACH
The purpose of this assignment is to
-
adjust the exposure settings in different lighting situations
-
capturing moments from public spaces

Part I
EXPOSURE SETTINGS
COLOR TESTING IN DIFFERENT EXPOSURE SETTINGS

1/160s at f=5.0, exposure bias: 3 EV

1/5000s at f=8.0, exposure bias: -3 EV
The red flowers stand out in the overexposed image while the while flowers stand out in underexposed image.

1/480s at f=5.6, exposure bias: 0 EV

1/110s at f=4.0, exposure bias: 3 EV
The subject changes from the central stone to the leaves when the photo is overexposed.
TEXTURE OF LIGHTS IN DIFFERENT EXPOSURE SETTINGS

1/640s at f=5.6, exposure bias: 1 EV

1/3000s at f=6.4, exposure bias: -1.67 EV
In the over exposed image, the reflection on the glazing is represented clearly while in the underexposed image the indoor lighting stands out and the light temperature is warmer.

1/3800s at f=8.0, exposure bias: -3 EV
The sunlight reflected off the window is more dazzling when the image is underexposed.
Part II
